Ingredients
- 1/3 cup popping corn
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1/2 bag (or about 2 cups) mini marshmallows
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- Salt, to taste
- Food coloring, optional
Instructions
Pop corn in oil. Lightly salt and set aside. Place marshmallows and butter in a medium glass bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted (careful-it's HOT). Pour melted marshmallows over popped corn and stir. Coat your hands with butter and form popcorn mixture into large balls and place on wax paper.
Additional Comments: Serves: 6
Eat right away! Or, you can store in an airtight container for several days. Freeze them for several weeks. For holidays, stir a little food coloring into melted marshmallows.
Do not let the popped corn sit for very long before you use it - get all the ingredients ready before you start.
