Caramel Corn

Preparation Time: 5 minutes + popping time Difficulty: Easy


  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6-8 quarts popped popcorn
  • Dash salt, optional


Put brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup, and salt in a medium size heavy pan. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Take of fheat and add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Stir well. Pour over popped corn and mix together.

Additional Comments:
  • This recipe is very fast and easy. It makes a very soft and gooey caramel corn.
